What happens after I book a senior session?

This is when the fun begins! After you book with me we will set up a zoom call. This is a 15-20 minute call one month or so before your session to go over the basics such as location, outfits, session time, package choice, and any other pertinent info. I also ask that a parent jumps on this call so that they are on board with the plan! In the meantime, feel free to start dreaming and picturing what you want your senior session to look like! This is such a special time in your life that you will be thankful you captured :).

When do you recommend booking my session?

Today! :) If you are someone that will want a weekend evening session, I definitely recommend reaching out early. I will have very limited dates, likely only one weekend a month. I will also be offering sessions on one Friday evening a month and some scattered weekdays. Even if you don’t know a date yet, you can always put your name in for the month you want!

Can we use multiple locations?

Yes! With my deluxe package I allow two locations. Most seniors choose one urban location and one nature location. However, I have had seniors take advantage of the second location for sports photos, horse photos, and other extra curricular activities so you can definitely make the session yours!

(Girls) Should I have my hair, makeup, and nails done?

From my perspective, YES! This does not mean that you have to have hair, makeup, and nails done professionally, you can always have a friend or family member help you. I typically recommend curling your hair and going heavier than you normally would on makeup because it photographs better. Also for nails, please either have them natural and clean, painted nicely, or artificial nails. I know it is a lot of work, I definitely understand, but when you look back at your photos, I know you will be glad you took the extra time and effort to do the preparation! I do include quite a few close ups that will feature your beautiful hair, face, and nails! :)

Is a deposit required? What happens if it rains?

Yes. I do require a $75 deposit to hold your date for the session.

Great question! I always reserve some weekday evenings for rain dates if needed. If you are a senior that participates in sports during the week and this does not work for you, I can always do a Saturday morning also. This will be something we discuss during the zoom call to make sure we have a plan!
